Gearhallen, one of the former production buildings in Valby Maskinfabrik, has been transformed and thoroughly renovated into modern office facilities. This historic space now combines industrial heritage with contemporary design, offering streamlined and flexible office solutions for Capital Investment A/S. The renovation aimed to create a New York-inspired look, utilizing linear lighting to illuminate the dark ceilings and integrating track spots for a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The project was completed in collaboration with Caembell El-anlæg ApS, ZESO Architects, and INTERN A/S.

The lighting fixtures chosen for this project enhance the modern yet industrial feel of Gearhallen. With a focus on both functionality and style, the linear lights and integrated track spots provide ample illumination while maintaining a sleek, unobtrusive appearance. The selected fixtures, including the “Yori Evo Ghostrack” designed and manufactured by Reggiani Illuminazione, and Proline 60, designed by Imperial Lighting, embody the perfect blend of innovative design and practical application. This collaborative effort makes Gearhallen a standout example of how historic spaces can be repurposed for contemporary use.
