Restaurant Gaarden, located in the newly renovated Risbjerggård in Hvidovre, is the latest venture by LOCA Gruppen. Gaarden aims to create a local community through a multifunctional space where diverse backgrounds and cultures can converge over food, coffee, or various events. X LIGHT® had the privilege of designing and delivering the lighting for this unique restaurant, meeting the specific desires of Tegnestuen Vandkunsten to highlight the beautiful double-height room with exposed original beams using point lighting while maintaining a linear downward expression.
The lighting solution for Restaurant Gaarden features Yori Edge from Reggiani Illuminazione, custom-made for track mounting. With three adjustable joints, the fixtures can illuminate the ceiling and create a calm and cozy atmosphere, complemented by the glow of candles and the warmth from the wood-burning stove. The lighting is segmented, allowing it to be adjusted according to different events and uses of the space. The interior design brings nature indoors, evoking the feel of a hunting lodge with beautiful plants and sustainable furniture from TAKT, making Gaarden a warm and inviting place for the community to gather.
