At X Light, we are proud to have delivered the state-of-the-art lighting solution for the UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2024 at Ballerup Super Arena, ensuring an exceptional experience for athletes, spectators, and television viewers alike.
In collaboration with Artelia, we enhanced the existing lighting system to meet the rigorous requirements set by the UCI. This upgrade involved the addition of 24 advanced lighting units and integration with the DALI system, providing precise control over light intensity and usage. Furthermore, the system is connected via DMX, allowing seamless coordination between light and sound, creating a dynamic environment for the event.
Our initial contribution to the arena’s lighting dates back to 2019, when we supplied nearly 100 Astro 1789 projectors and 65 FORUM 2 modular luminaires (5700K, CRI90) from our Italian partner, Disano Illuminazione. This comprehensive setup ensures optimal brightness and clarity, meeting the highest standards of performance.
